💼 Monetization Models for Drivers
Noirajya drivers are independent earners — free to choose how and when they work.
The platform does not fix rates or take commissions. Instead, drivers can earn through several community-driven models. Below are some suggested Monetization Models for Drivers:
1. Direct Delivery Fees
This is the most common earning model.
- Drivers negotiate delivery fees directly with local shops or customers.
- Fees can depend on distance, delivery size, urgency, or return trips.
2. Partnered Shop Model
- A driver may partner with one or more shops for regular or exclusive deliveries.
- Shops may pay a fixed daily, weekly, or monthly retainer in exchange for priority availability.
- Example: A grocery store pays ₹3,000/month to a driver for all local deliveries within 3 km.
3. Shared Driver Network
This model encourages cooperation and helps drivers earn more consistently.
- Multiple drivers can form a delivery group among themselves.
- Multiple nearby shops can share delivery order request in the drivers group.
- Each shop pays a small subscription to the Delivery Driver Group for their services.
- Delivery Driver Group can then divide the subscription earning among the member Delivery Drivers.
4. Urgent Delivery Premiums
- Drivers can charge slightly higher fees for urgent deliveries.
- Example: ₹20 extra for same-hour delivery or after-hours service.
5. Group or Bulk Delivery Model
- Drivers can combine multiple small deliveries along the same route to save time and fuel.
- Charge a slightly lower rate per delivery but complete more deliveries per hour.
6. Additional Local Services
- Drivers may expand their income by offering related services such as:
- Returns for Shop orders
- Assisting shops by picking up supplies or inventory from nearby wholesalers or markets.
- Voluntary or paid delivery of essentials for elderly residents or local welfare programs.
- Display small brand stickers or carry promotional flyers for Local businesses.
- These services can be negotiated directly and are fully independent of Noirajya.
