CONTRIBUTOR GUIDELINES

NOIRAJYA welcomes contributions, especially those that have not been submitted, published, or accepted for publication elsewhere. Contributors must specify the same in the article, photograph, videos & other submission emails. We currently accept contributions in English, Bangla & Hindi. Contributors are urged to follow Noirajya’s Contributor Guidelines for all submissions. Contributors are cautioned against plagiarism. The Editor reserves the right to slot an article in a specific section, as deemed fit.

Decision Process

The receipt of contents is acknowledged by email within a week of submission. If contributors don’t receive an acknowledgment within a week of submission, they are requested to check their spam folders for the mail & write to us at editor@noirajya.com.

Please note that the acknowledgment is only for confirming receipt of the contribution & does not imply that any decision regarding acceptance has been made. Every effort is taken to complete the swift processing of the submissions we receive. The editor reserves the right to make requisite changes to titles & subheadings.

Categories for Submission

Articles

Word Count: More than 200 words.

The Article must be provided in MS Word format. Figures, Graphs, Tables, Maps, Pictures, Videos & other references can be used wherever necessary. All contributions must be accompanied by:

1. Six to Eight keywords. (Optional)
2. Authors Name, Email Address for correspondence.
3. Social Media Handles, Website Links, About the Author & Author’s Photograph can be added to the Author’s Note. (Optional)
4. All supplementary files like Maps, Pictures, Figures, Graphs, etc must be provided in .jpg format or other editable formats.

Stories

Word Count: More than 200 words.

The Story must be provided in MS Word format. Maps, Photographs, Videos & other references can be used wherever necessary. All contributions must be accompanied by:

1. Six to Eight keywords. (Optional)
2. Authors Name, Email Address for correspondence.
3. Social Media Handles, Website Links, About the Author & Author’s Photograph can be added to the Author’s Note. (Optional)
4. At least 2 photographs with captions about them in less than 50 words.
5. All supplementary files like Photographs, Maps, etc must be provided in .jpg format or other editable formats.

Poetry

The Poems must be provided in MS Word formats. All contributions must be accompanied by:

1. Six to Eight keywords. (Optional)
2. Authors Name, Email Address for correspondence.
3. Social Media Handles, Website Links, About the Author & Author’s Photograph can be added to the Author’s Note. (Optional)

Reviews

Word Count: More than 200 words.

Reviews must be provided in MS Word formats. All contributions must be accompanied by:

1. Six to Eight keywords. (Optional)

3. Social Media Handles, Website Links, About the Author & Author’s Photograph can be added to the Author’s Note. (Optional)

2. Authors Name, Email Address for correspondence.
3. Social Media Handles, Website Links, About the Author & Author’s Photograph can be added to the Author’s Note. (Optional)
4. Caption the video in less than 200 words.

Cartoons

Cartoons must be provided in .jpg format or other editable formats. All contributions must be accompanied by:

1. Six to Eight keywords. (Optional)
2. Authors Name, Email Address for correspondence.
3. Social Media Handles, Website Links, About the Author & Author’s Photograph can be added to the Author’s Note. (Optional)
4. Caption about the cartoon in less than 200 words.

Copyright

The published content may be considered for translation into different Indian languages. The copyright of all contents published in Noirajya belongs to the author.

Permission for Reproduction

1. Noirajya has no objection to authors republishing or revising their content for other publications. However, the republished content must mention prominently that a version of the content first appeared in Noirajya. It must also include the URL of the original Noirajya content.
2. No published content or part thereof should be reproduced in any form without the prior permission of the author(s).
